The Training Plan

We have put together a pretty basic training plan with a focus on one long run and one medium run per week. 

- The longest run will be a Spring Marathon that Helen needs to do to ratify her entry.

- There are no rest days scheduled, this will be taken as and when we feel we need them.

- The Tuesday 'strides' run will be around 5 miles with 7 x 100m (aprox.) strides done entirely to feel i.e. hard if we're feeling up for it and easy if not.

- Our goal is to take things as easily as possible and just enjoy the day in South Africa, as such there are no 'sessions' here, just all easy paced running.

- The only real effort of the week is likely to come at parkrun events when whichever one of us who's running feels like giving it a go.

- We might chuck the odd race in along the way if we feel like it.
